What is an ‘Emergency Plan’?

An Emergency Plan is intended to be a self-help response document. It is to use during Emergencies of such a nature that the attendance of normal Emergency Services is delayed and therefore the initial response may fall entirely to local people. In order to prepare for such a situation, some Parish Councils have formulated a ‘Community Emergency Plan’ which identifies key issues and resources available to that Community. This is not a statutory document but is deemed as best practice; local communities will have greater insight that allows a more effective initial response.

The Emergency Plan for Catshill and North Marlbrook can be found here – Community Emergency Plan.

It is a working document and will be updated and reviewed on a regular basis.

If you are aware of any resources that may be available for use during an emergency, please contact the Clerk.
