THE last of Worcestershire’s temporary Coronavirus intensive care units are being closed down today.
The Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust announced today that all affected patients are now being cared for at the main units at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Charles Hastings Way and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
Worcestershire Acute Intensive Care posted on Twitter: “Hoping to leave the last of our temporary ICUs today, and have all of our patients cared for back on our main units at Worcestershire Royal and the Alex.
“It’s not the end of the #Covid19 journey, but it’s a big milestone. Thumbs up
