On 20th April 2018, the Annual Parish Meeting was held in Catshill Village Hall. This has been an extremely successful event in recent years and was again attended by representatives of Community Groups, Parish Councillors, District and County Councillor Shirley Webb and Members of the public. The Annual Parish Meeting this year included a lively presentation from Caroline Webster, Senior Technician at Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, about the services on offer to support people to reduce the risk from fire and an important update presentation from the Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group regarding the progress to date and the imminent distribution of phase 2 questionnaire. Representatives of Community Groups were able to provide reports on the successes and progress in their previous year and advertise the services they provide.
Unfortunately, this year, the Annual Parish Meeting coincided with the Easter Half Term and due to this a large number of regular attenders submitted their apologies to the meeting. It has been agreed that next year, the date of the Annual Meeting will be moved to allow for a greater attendance. We look forward to seeing you there.
