A huge crowd attended the Remembrance Sunday services organised by Catshill Churches Together, & the Parish Council. There was a united service held at the Middle School, followed by a short service at the War Memorial where the Blackwell Concert Band supplied the music. Refreshments were then served in Catshill Social Club. |

Several Parish Councillors & colleagues remove the over-growing trees from each side of the War Memorial, and make the area level in preparation for Remembrance day. |

For the second year running the Parish Council fund the Bonfire & Fireworks event held on the Meadow. Once again the event organised by Catshill Scouts is a huge success. |

The Parish Council host a Halloween party for youngsters in the village hall, which was decorated especially for the event. |

The second edition of the new style newsletter (Autumn edition) was delivered. It contained discount vouchers for local businesses. |

The annual Hanging Basket competition was launched, with Judging to be during the first week of August. First, second and third prizes will be awarded. |

Parish councillors attended the highly successful Catshill Fun Day. Once again members of the public had a chance to chat to their councillors over light refreshments, and also have a go at a competition, and pick up free energy efficient light bulbs and an energy saving device for computers. |

A new look Parish newsletter was produced and distributed to every household within the parish. It met with a favourable response. Similar newsletters will now be produced three times per year. |

Parish councillors judged the Christmas lights competition. Prizes were awarded for the best window displays. |

The Parish Council organise the Remembrance service at the War Memorial, in association with Catshill Churches Together. The event was very well attended. |

After a two year absence, the Parish Council sponsor the return of the Bonfire & Firework display on the Meadow. The event organised by Catshill Scouts proved to be a huge success, and will hopefully continue to grow. |

Parish Councillors host two open days at Catshill Village Hall to allow members of the public to review the Draft Parish Plan and contribute to the process of creating a definitive Parish Plan for Catshill & North Marlbrook. |

Parish Councillors tour the Parish to judge the best hanging basket / container competition. Prizes of £25, £15 and £10 were awarded. |

The Parish Council was represented at the Catshill Fun Day on 21st June. Their popular stand was visited by many people, who enjoyed a chat over a cup of tea, whilst being able to take away the draft Parish Plan, and other free useful items such as key rings and energy efficient light bulbs. |
