Bromsgrove District Council are currently in the process of writing to shielded people (the very clinically vulnerable) across the District who have not responded to Worcestershire County Council’s attempts to contact them so far.

The list of shielded people who have not responded to contact made by the County Council or Central Government has been passed to the District Council and letters have been sent to all (approximately 380 people).

People should get in touch whether they need support or not so that every person on the shielded list has the support they need and no one is missed

A dedicated email address and phone number has been set up to receive calls and emails (01527 881254 /  shielded@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk from people who have received letters.  Anyone who contacts Bromsgrove District Council (including via Support Bromsgrove or Here2Help) will be checked off the list and assisted if they need support, either through Bromsgrove District Council services or by other services like Support Bromsgrove, which includes the local neighbourhood community responses that a number of Parishes are involved in.
